Additional information
* Checked-in bags will be X-Rayed and sorted for physical examination or ‘release’.
* Baggage selected for physical examination will be checked upon owner’s consent. Bags not consented for a physical examination will be checked in the presence of the owner after their release from Quarantine.
* Items for ‘release’ will be delivered to the owner at the quarantine site.
* Owner of detained items will be notified by an official Customs Detention Notice and/or a Biosecurity Control Notice.
